WCJS 2008 RETAIL STORE REGISTRATION FORM

We're thrilled you have decided to attend the West Coast Jewelry Show, August 16-18, 2008! Please complete all required fields. * indicates a field is required. Also note below the many great incentives you may qualify for as an attending store. They include a Free Room Night at the Anaheim Marriott, Free Gas or Free Parking. Be sure to choose the one you qualify for as they cannot be combined. NOTE: Badges will be mailed to you if you pre-register up to two weeks before the show. If you pre-register between two weeks and one week before the show, you will be able to pick up your badge on-site. If registering less than one week before the show, come to the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza to Register On-Site at the Registration Counter. SPECIAL INCENTIVES FOR RETAIL STORE ATTENDEES (note they cannot be combined)

1. FREE ROOM NIGHT AT THE HYATT REGENCY CENTURY PLAZA (RETAILERS ONLY)--My store is 50 or more miles away from the show and I qualify for a free room night (room and tax) the night of Friday, Saturday or Sunday, August 15, 16 or 17, 2008, as long as we work at the show a combined total of 8 hours.

2. UP TO $30 GAS REIMBURSEMENT (RETAILERS ONLY) --My store is between 25 and 49 miles from the show and we qualify to receive UP TO $30 in Gas Reimbursements, providing we work the show a combined total of 6 hours.

3. FREE PARKING VOUCHER --My store is between 1 and 24 miles from the show and we qualify for Free Parking.

4. HOLIDAY BOOT CAMP--This year, the Holiday Boot Camp Educational Program will be conveniently located in Meeting Rooms on the same level as the show ballrooms. Each session fits approximately 30 people and is first-come, first-served for attendees. Watch the WCJS Web Site for the complete schedule.

ATTENDANCE QUALIFICATIONS

Be sure you qualify for admittance before making hotel and travel reservations. DEADLINE FOR ADVANCE BUYER REGISTRATION: August 1, 2008. ADMISSION TO THE WEST COAST JEWELRY SHOW (WCJS) IS GRANTED TO:

Retail jewelry buyers listed in JBT, Retail members of the California Jewelers Association (CJA), or who are endorsed for admittance by at least three exhibitors and whose primary business is the purchase and resale of finished jewelry

Online jewelers

Premium and incentive jewelry buyers

Wholesalers - MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE AND BE ENDORSED BY AT LEAST FOUR EXHIBITORS. NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. Manufacturers do NOT qualify as wholesalers.

REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION AND QUALIFYING DOCUMENTS

If a your company does not meet the above qualifications, the following documentation is required for registration: RETAILER: Copy of store lease;  Copy of sales tax certificate; Copies of invoices from three exhibitors or other suppliers for multiple purchases of finished jewelry made within the past 12 months for a combined annual total of $10,000. WHOLESALER: Copies of itemized invoices from five different EXHIBITOR or other suppliers of finished jewelry purchased within the past year. Each invoice must show multiple purchases. (Minimum combined total $100K.); business license.

ON-SITE REGISTRATION: 

To avoid waiting in line, advance is registration is strongly recommended. If registering on-site, please be sure to have proper personal and qualifying business identification with you.

Admission Is Not Granted To:

General Public /Guests.

Non-exhibiting manufacturers, suppliers, designers, loose stone dealers.

Individuals operating businesses from home.

Wholesalers (on-site) who did not register in advance.

All individuals 14 years, of age and under, including infants unless a release form is signed on site.

Confirmation, followed by your badges, will be emailed or faxed to pre-registered buyers in advance of the Show.

NOTICE

Proper identification and qualifying documents are required for both advance and on-site registration.

Individual personalized business and government issued photo identification must be carried at all times.

No one will be permitted to vouch for another individual’s credentials.

All registrants are subject to approval from WCJS

CONFIRMATION/BADGES

Registration forms received by 8/1/2008 will be processed within 7 to 10 business days.

Badge holders and directories must be obtained at the WCJS Show.

Duplicate requests will not receive badges.

The WCJS Show reserves the right to use photos taken of you at the Show for promotional and editorial purposes. Pre-registration does not guarantee immediate entry into the Show, as your badge will not be valid until validated at the Badge Validation Desk. Therefore it is imperative that you stop at the Badge Validation Desk. You will need to have with you: your badge, personal identification (driver's license with photo or passport) and personal business identification (personalized business card, W2 form or cancelled payroll check) to confirm the entrance into Exhibit Floor and to pick up your badge holder. Your badge(s) are the property of WCJS, and are non-transferable and will be confiscated upon any attempt to transfer to another individual. There will be a fee of $100 to replace a misplaced or lost badge. Your badge will only be printed once at the Show. Please note that if you misplace your badge you are jeopardizing the security of the Show.
